Barbara Lorraine Swift born on February 2, 1937 in Penticton, B.C. passed away with family by her side after a short battle with cancer on Friday December 6, 2019 in Trail, B.C.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Gordan Donaldson, her parents Jack and Iris Lowndes and her brother John Lowndes.

Barbara is survived by her children Michael (Nataline) Swift, Carol (Kevin) Nash, Lana (Bill) Charkos, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and close friend Myrt Servaitius.

Barbara was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 45+ years and was an active curler throughout a majority of her life. She enjoyed travelling, gambling, walking and visiting with her children.

A Celebration of Life will be held with family and friends in late August where we will do her famous fish fry and remember and honor all the memories that we have had together.

“Tell someone that cares” famous quote!

Mom lived life to the fullest, was definitely more outspoken than well-spoken and added a lot of colour to all of our lives. We will love, appreciate our time spent together and miss you forever.
