In Loving Memory of
George Robert Lee (Bob) Brown
December 5, 1939 – November 2, 2019
“His true wealth was in his generous heart.
And what endless wealth he did have”
It is with deep sadness that we share that George Robert Lee (Bob) Brown passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of November 2, 2019.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Millicent Brown, his three devoted daughters; Lee (Brian) Rogers, Carrie (Jeff) Nahorney, Dawn (Alistair) Bradley, and his proud Grandchildren; Briana, Liam, Ty, Kali, Ethan and Paige.
There will be no funeral upon request. We will be planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring when all the family can attend. In lieu of flowers, his family requests for donations to be made to a charity of their choice.
Offer Condolence for the family of George Brown

Dear Milly, Frank and I have just learned of your sad loss. Bob was good guy, I remember him playing golf with Branwen, really taking an interest in how she played, trying to help. Another memory that springs to mind was when Frank and I were trying to round dance. Frank complained that I had no rhythm, so we switched partners, a few minutes later Frank walks over to Bob and I “Anne’s fine, it’s your problem”. It was such a shock to say the least for himself. I ‘ll never forget it. We send our love and sincere sympathy to you and the family. Take good care of yourself.Anne.

Millie and family – I’m so sorry to hear about Bob. I know that Mom always enjoyed your visits and I’ll always remember the bunny hop at your wedding and one of my first crushes.

Millie and family. I’m heartbroken over your loss. Words cannot express the sadness I feel for all of you. I’ll always have my memories of Bob and the fun he contributed during our square dancing days years ago. His memory will forever be in my hearts. There are no words to help ease your pain but know that you’re all in my thoughts and prayers. With Deepest Sympathy Rose Baruta

Bob was a generous, kind cousin who spent many years serving others in their time of need. I remember many a time seeing him drop in at the parents home in Vancouver after being abroad. More recently, it was nice seeing Bob, Millie and the rest of the Brown clan in Naramata for a wonderful family reunion. We will miss your smiles, laughter and jokes which always kept the conversation entertaining.
