Liela Soukeroff 1975-2021
Liela was a very kind and warm-hearted woman. While she knew many people in the community she had so much family that loved her very much. She had left behind her husband Harold Soukeroff and her two girls Candice and Allison Soukeroff. The love she gave to her family was so big everyone could see it. She supported her family all of the time and was their number one fan, attending every sporting event and helping them chase their dreams. Some things that Liela enjoyed doing were the things where she could be outside with her family: fishing, camping, and quadding were when some of the best memories were made. She will be deeply missed.

my heart still hurts when I think of the passing of this wonderful person. I will cherish the memories that I have of Harold and Leila living beside my folks and the birth of Candice. Even after they moved we still would stop and chat with each other. Gentle hugs and comforting thoughts,, She touched alot of hearts in Castlegar and she will always be remembered. Rest in Peace my friend. until we meet again

Heart-wrenching! May all the wonderful memories Liela created with her family, friends, the Community help just a little to cope with her loss.
Her vitality, her smile, her “warmth”, her love of her family, her volunteer contributions were ever present,
She played such a vital role in the Castlegar Skating Club for 15+ years.
Albeit a life cut far too short, she certainly “lived it to the fullest” and was a ‘shining, vibrant”, caring person.
Difficult and even impossible as it may be at times, she would want her loved ones to be productive, compassionate, successful and happy. May you draw some comfort from accepting all the wonderful virtues that she embodied and shared!
